Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Vault Diary does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.

What the app stores

Notes, checklists, images, labels, tasks and settings you create are stored only on your device, encrypted. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Internet access

The app does not request the internet permission and cannot connect to any server.

No accounts, analytics or ads

There is no sign-up, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party tracking.

Backups

If you export a backup, an encrypted file is saved to a location you choose. Where you keep that file is up to you; we never receive it.

Permissions

Vault Diary uses biometric (fingerprint) authentication only if you enable it; biometric data stays in Android’s secure system and is never accessible to the app. Photos you add are copied into the app’s encrypted storage through Android’s system picker or camera.

Purchases

Vault Diary is sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google under Google’s privacy policy; we do not receive your payment details.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
